My dressage arena was flooded this morning but I adapted the concept in the space I had and rode it several times. We both got very relaxed and focused, even when an escaped pony came running by, which would normally completely distract my horse. I was also thinking about your 'Promise to my horse' and was just thinking, 'we're busy with this now and we're safe, so we're going to just ignore him'

Question…my horse is very sensitive to the outside foot going slightly back, she thinks it means to canter, she start cantering in place practically if I do that, how to get past that?

I love this video and Jacques (and Leo). I understood proper sitting in canter not long ago and it felt so amazing. I felt I was floating but also relaxed. And relaxing made my legs stretched and able to push my heels down. I am riding a horse where I had to massage the bit so she rounds. Is there already a video on massaging the bit?

It worked! I tried it with my jumping horse for curiosity to see if it would work and now he can do piaffe 😂it’s so fun I know he is a jumping horse and I don’t do dressage but it’s nice to brag around the barn about it lol
